UK HealthTech startups surge ahead in February!

UK-based Level Zero Health secured £5.5 million in pre-seed funding – the largest ever for female founders in Europe. Co-founded by Ula Rustamova and Irene Jia, the company is developing a noninvasive wearable patch for continuous hormone monitoring, aiming to revolutionize fertility treatments and stress management.

Innovate UK has announced the upcoming i4i Product Development Awards (PDA) Call 30, opening on April 9, 2025. This program supports the development of medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, and digital health technologies, offering significant grant funding opportunities for UK healthtech startups (see comments to apply).

Manchester-based Prorizon, a health and sports tech startup, raised £400,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by GC Angels. The investment will enhance their AI-driven platform designed to help individuals manage physical and psychological stress, with plans to expand into professional sports and the US college sports market.
